Clinical Team & Dental Hygienists
Ericka – Registered Dental Assistant
Ericka is a super reliable team member, and she’s great at multitasking. She’s been with us for over 8 years, and before working with us, she attended Sacramento City College and Carrington College where she studied dental assisting.
When you come into the office, be sure to congratulate Ericka on her recent marriage to Brian. Together, they have a furbaby named Henry. Ericka loves going to the gym, going to the movies, and trying new foods. She also loves coffee breaks and long walks with her dog to unwind.
Ericka’s health tip: “Don’t go to sleep without first brushing your teeth!”
Bianca Ramirez – Dental Assistant
As our newest team member, Bianca has been a huge help around the office. She always ensures the patients are well taken care of. She hopes to be the reason each patient leaves our office with a smile.
Bianca was born in Berkeley and was raised in Elk Grove. She studied at Carrington College and now spends her free time shopping at thrift stores and farmers’ markets. Her favorite part of working at David Yasuda, DDS, is that the whole team agrees that the health of each patient is the top priority.
Bianca’s health tip: “Wear sunscreen, even on cloudy days; and make time for yourself, sometimes being selfish is good!”
Janet – Registered Dental Hygienist
Janet grew up in a military family; she has lived in Illinois, Japan, Virginia, Michigan, and calls California her home. She studied dental assisting and dental hygiene at Sacramento City College and then went back to school for her Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene at the Oregon Institute of Technology.
Not only does Janet work hard to brighten your smile, she lightens up each day, as she believes laughter is the best medicine. She’s been with us for 20 years.
Janet has an adult daughter, Mallorie, and an adult son, Connor. Her favorite thing to do is watch her granddaughter, Bellamy. She also enjoys scary movies.
Janet’s health tips: “Wear beige” and eat your vegetables.
Kimi – Registered Dental Hygienist
Kimi is great at getting the job done. The motto, “Do the right thing,” sticks with her as she helps patients and her teammates alike.
With a BA degree from CSU Sacramento, Kimi started studying dental assisting at Western Career College before going to the Oregon Institute of Technology for her dental hygienist degree. She’s been with us now for over 10 years.
Kimi loves to be active; she participates in all sorts of activities that allow her to move around including yoga, walking, and water aerobics. She is trying pickleball and also enjoys eating out.
Kimi’s health tip: “Breathe.” Solid advice.
Administration Team
Cynthia – Patient Care Coordinator
Cynthia is an important team player; she’s been with us over 18 years, so we wouldn’t be here without her. She studied dental assisting in school, so she knows the ins and outs of dentistry. She is the best person to help you schedule the treatments you need.
Cynthia was born in San Francisco and was raised in the Bay Area. She loves her family and considers spending time with them her biggest hobby. She and her husband, Joseph, are proud parents of Xavier, Leila, Rai† and Xander.
Cynthia’s health tip: “Don’t put off until tomorrow what can be done today”—this is how she tries to live her life.
Teri – Business Administrator
Teri was first introduced to the business side of dentistry when she married Dr. Yasuda. When they started their practice in 2002, she stepped into the role as business administrator. Spending most of her time behind the scenes, she supports Dr. Yasuda and his team to keep the practice running smoothly. She’s a UC Davis Aggie alumna who was raised as a farm girl near Fresno.
Above all, family is her number one priority. With David, they have two sons, Davis and Scott and two furbabies: Chibi and Peaches. She’ll spend time with them anywhere.
Outside of work, Teri loves listening to music and podcasts, reading books, baking new recipes, and trying new restaurants. She hopes to add more travels to that list!
Teri’s health tip: Look up, lift your head, look around. Make eye contact, notice the sky, the trees. Be present – nourish your soul.
